Our 50 ton travelift offered a full refit!

In order to refit the structure and mechanical sets of our Travelift, the company ADF Has done the following work:

Structure control:

  • Visual inspection of all the welds of the structure;
  • stitching corroded places, then checking the thicknesses of these places;
  • Opening of the visit hatches for interior visual inspection of the beams;
  • Removal of protection casings to access the structure;
  • Beam and weld control;
  • Anti rust manual paint of the whole.

 

Steering joint control:

  • Control of the interplay between axes/clevises of the 16 steering joints;
  • Manual lubrication tests;
  • Control of the pin fixings.

 

Pulley control:

  • Control of the axes/housing games of all the pulleys;
  • gorges control;
  • Rail control;
  • Control of lifting cables, lubrication.

 

rudders:

  • removal of the 4 rudders;
  • Control of axes/clevis games;
  • Weld control, thickness;
  • Anti rust paint sanding;
  • Reassembly of the 4 rudders.

 

Hydraulic:

  • Resumption Fixing of the pipes;
  • Hydraulic leak detection at a top beam;
  • Removal of 2 joints;
  • In the workshop, the 2 cylinders are dismantled, replacement of the seals;
  • Reassembly and testing of the cylinders in the workshop;
  • Reinstallation of the 2 joints;
  • Hydraulic central cleaning, leak detection;
  • Checking all hoses.

 

Carrier wheel joint:

  • Lifting and securing the 2 wheels opposite side to the motorization (lifting beam);
  • Removal of one of the wheel joints (crane, forklift);
  • Rotary link expertise;
  • Replacement of the joint and the wheel;
  • Rest of the Travelift Sue these 4 wheels;
