Like every year for more than 15 years, we have just put back in the water and rematch this magnificent classic sloop sailboat.<\/p>\n

The classic Talofa sailboat is in winter under a hangar at Port Navy Service<\/a>\u00a0And its owner shows him real attention.<\/p>\n

This sailboat is wintered and dismasted but it sails because its owner's passion is unalterable.<\/p>\n

Built by the Naval Architect Eugene Corn<\/a>u<\/a>.<\/a>\u00a0Talofa is the largest boat he has drawn.<\/p>\n

Today owned by G\u00e9rard Mesnel, this 20 m 50 sailboat was built in 1962.<\/p>\n

An almost perfect boat where no detail has been overlooked, it is \"a real floating work of art\"<\/p>\n

This sailboat was built in Mahogany Grand Bassam and its hull is in triple edges screwed copper. The cabinetmakers of the construction site have made its fittings in precious wood (Ebony, rosewood, lemon tree, etc.). All fittings are made of bronze and its mast is a 32m marshal.<\/div>\n
Fifty years after its launch \"Talofa\" is still sailing in the Mediterranean. He has participated on various occasions in the Royal Cannes regattas and the Sails Semaine de Saint-Tropez, it is perfectly maintained.<\/div>\n
