In Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhone:

  • Napoleon Beach : One of the largest beach in the Camargue, 10 kilometers of sand and dunes with on one side the mouth of the Rhône and on the other the Gulf of Fos-sur-Mer
  • Carteau beach : This beach is basically a kitesurfing spot.
  • Olga Beach : Small beach of sands and pebbles.

In Salin-de-Giraud:

  • Piemanson Beach : Today is the wildest beach in France. It extends over several kilometers of Camargue landscapes composed of dunes and wild ponds. To get to this beach you will have to take the ferry from Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône to Salin de Giraud on which you can board with your car.

We have, in the Hanse de Carteau, a sailing club that enjoys a strategic location in terms of exposure to the wind. The "Centre Nautiques Mer et Passions" offers quality teaching by sailing professionals in a friendly atmosphere.

Different types of teaching are available: free navigation for the most seasoned, baptisms, course for beginners... All of these formulas are offered in windsurfing, catamaran, laser, caravelle, ludic, optimist and even kite surfing.
