Catamarans at Port Navy Service

Lipari 41 in Port Navy Service

Port Navy Service has been specialized for many years in the catamaran shore parking up to 12 meters wide. The catamarans are wedged on metallic staples and wooden sleepers. For drifting catamarans, we position large steel shims under the hulls. We adapt our calibration supports according to the size, weight and hull shape of your boat.

No dismasting is necessary, neither for handling nor for outdoor parking.
In the case of parking under the shed, dismasting is to be expected.

Your mast will then be wedged next to your boat or on an outdoor rack depending on your request.

Drinking water and electricity are accessible at the terminals located in the parking aisles. Wi-Fi « Port Navy Service” is free for port users and accessible from your boat. A ladder will be loaned to you free of charge for the duration of your stay. Please bring it back when you leave the edge of your boat so that other boaters can enjoy it.

To best preserve your catamaran, some wintering tips:
Store and desalinate your fenders and mooring lines
Desalinate and degrate your sails, then overwinter them inside your catamaran or bring them for overhaul.
Desalinate and preserve your current rigging
Desalinate your bridge
Preserve your mobile equipment (horse-hole buoy, HB engine, etc…)
Block your wind turbine
Wintering of the main engine and plugging the exhaust with a greasy cloth
Fill up the fuel tanks to avoid condensation
Empty water tanks and water heater to avoid possible freezing
Disconnect your batteries, unless solar panels and management system
Inside, remember to leave all the doors open to facilitate air circulation
Open the fridge door that will have been emptied in full to avoid mold
Clean toilets and water circuits with white vinegar and empty them completely
If possible, unplug and take your electronics, to avoid their deterioration in the event of lightning
Do not leave your boat connected to the electrical terminals after you leave (high fire hazard)
