Grounding a TS42 catamaran

Navy port service expert in catamaran handling

Port Navy Service is an expert in handling catamarans For 20 years. Specific trailers were therefore built for this purpose. We have 2 trailers that can carry up to 15 tons and 25 tons. The skates on which the boats are arranged are made of a material studied to guarantee optimal protection. These pads are covered with a 5 cm thick foam and large sizes (1 meter by 50 centimeters), to ensure reduced efforts on the structure when grounding a catamaran or trimaran.

Rich in its experience, Port Navy Service promotes this type of handling with trailer for catamarans, crane crane by Travel Lift or Crane. The reason? The tension caused by the straps against the structure of the catamarans or trimarans is a real risk to the integrity of the hull. When we lift a catamaran or a trimaran from below, it does not undergo any pressure, the areas or are placed the skates are reflected in order to support the entire boat as well as possible. It is this technique that is used by most manufacturers. It is the perfect combination weight x balance that our crane operators have been perfecting for several years, with the total confidence of our customers.

A measurable exemplarity

Concerned about the quality given to the owners who trust us, we can now be proud to welcome hundreds of catamarans to our park.

Modern catamarans develop a common point, the models become larger and are often heavier. It is for this reason that Port Navy Service undertakes to invest in a trailer that can lift catamarans up to 50 tons. Our launching slope can let models pass up to 13m wide.
